APP Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NANO CLEAR SLM LTD ("Nano Clear," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Nano Clear Watch Care App (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and login credentials.

Collection Data. Information you add about your watches, including brand, model, purchase details, estimated value, and any notes or images you choose to upload. This data belongs to you and is used to power your collection and value tracking.

Location Data. With your permission, we collect your device's location to provide our Live Theft Map and Travel Mode features. Location is used to show theft activity near you and to alert you when you enter a known high-theft area. You can enable or disable location access at any time in your device settings. If you disable it, location-based features will not function, but the rest of the App will continue to work.

Usage Data. Information about how you interact with the App, such as features used, screens viewed, and session length, to help us improve the experience.

Device Data. Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the App, manage your collection and value tracking, deliver Live Theft Map and Travel Mode alerts, improve and personalize your experience, communicate with you about updates or support, and protect the security and integrity of the App.

3. Location Data In Detail

Location is central to two features. The Live Theft Map uses your location to display luxury watch theft activity in your area. Travel Mode monitors your location in the background, when enabled, so we can notify you the moment you enter a flagged area and remind you to secure your watch.

We do not sell your location data. Theft-area information is provided for informational and safety purposes only and does not guarantee your safety in any location. You are always responsible for your own security decisions.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these limited cases: with trusted service providers who help us operate the App (such as hosting, analytics, and crash reporting) under confidentiality obligations; when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety; and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at app@nanoclear.com.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to safeguard your data.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy of your data, and withdraw consent for location tracking at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at app@nanoclear.com.

For Users In The European Economic Area And UK. We process your data under applicable data protection law, including the GDPR. Our legal bases include your consent (for location data), the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interests in improving the App.

For Users In California. Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and where appropriate, notify you within the App.
